SEVENTH ANNUAL
MICHIGAN'S SEVENTH ANNUAL
LAVENDER FESTIVAL
PRESENTED BY GABRIEL'S GARDEN
at Wolcott Mill Metropark
Friday & Saturday, July 17 & 18, 2009
from 10:00AM - 5:00PM

To better accommodate the growing number of visitors, Gabriel's Garden is pleased to announce that our Seventh Annual Lavender Festival will take place at Wolcott Mill Metroparks'
Farm Learnig Center in Ray, Michigan!

This 250-acre working farm offers the perfect relaxed setting for the lavender festival.  The farm is part of the Wolcott Mill Metropark, stretching over 2,625 acres, which also includes Camp Rotary, hiking, camping, golf, and the Historic Grist Mill.  It is located along the banks of the North Branch of the Clinton River in Ray Township, in north central Macomb County.

Enjoy the Essence of Fragrant Lavender swaying in the breeze as you listen to the sounds of
Harp & Dulcimer with live performances ongoing each day in the garden. A series of events
centered around the fragrant purple plant will also be offered, including: hands-on-workshops,
free classes & demonstrations by Local Artisans, Cooking With Lavender Classes & more.

Not only is this event a celebration of all the wonders of Lavender, but also an event that knits
together local, talented Artisans of one-of-a-kind hand-made goods! Festival booths will include
more than 40 Michigan Artists, Craftspeople and Vendors of Fine Lavender Products.

With just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of city life, the Lavender Festival is a perfect
mid-summer getaway. While you're in the area, be sure to stop in the Historic Village of Romeo.
The Gabriel's Garden Lavender Boutique is just one of many charming shops that Romeo has to offer.
